provides scholarship funds for
The PATH program, by This Naked Mind.
Kelly Davis, the founder of Perfectly Made A.F., joined The Path in September 2022—and it changed her life forever. She made a vow: if this program truly delivers freedom from alcohol (aka “the greatest magic trick of all time”), she would dedicate herself to making it accessible to anyone who was ready for change, no matter their financial situation.
Tragically, before she could share this life-saving program, her brother passed away and her best friend was permanently disabled due to alcohol.
Kelly created Perfectly Made A.F. so that no one else has to suffer—or die—without knowing that true, easy freedom from alcohol is not only possible…it’s real.
It doesn’t have to be hard. And NONE of us are broken.
Currently, the full-year Path membership at This Naked Mind is $3,000 ($250/month) for full access to all its resources. See the ‘About’ page for more information on The Path.

Why are scholarships so important?
· Financial strain: Many people battling alcohol-use have already spent significant money on their drinking or previous attempts to quit, leaving little left for quality support.
· Loss of income: Alcohol dependency can lead to job loss, reduced work hours, or career setbacks; making it difficult to afford the help they need.
· Lack of insurance coverage: Many recovery programs and alternative approaches to quitting alcohol aren’t covered by insurance, leaving people without accessible options.
· Family responsibilities: Parents and caregivers often prioritize their family's needs over their own well-being, making financial support essential for them to seek help.
· Breaking generational cycles: Many individuals come from families with long histories of alcohol dependence. Access to the right program can help them break the cycle for themselves and future generations.
Individuals with alcohol use disorder (AUD) are significantly more likely to experience job loss, lower wages, and financial hardship.
With up to 20% of unemployed individuals in the U.S. struggling with substance use disorders, alcohol remains a major contributor to long-term financial insecurity. On average, those with severe alcohol dependence spend $300–$1,000 per month on alcohol, diverting crucial funds away from essential needs like housing, healthcare, and savings.
Alcohol Lies. We Won’t.
A few days before my brother passed, he said he felt “hopeless” and he was “just a drunk.” That was a lie alcohol told him. The truth? He was a father, a son, a brother, a teacher, and the funniest person in the world. He believed love should never be a bad word in his classroom. He was brilliant. He was a poet.
Alcohol is an addictive drug that convinces people they are broken—when in reality, it’s alcohol that is broken. The industry profits from blame, shifting responsibility onto the user instead of the substance.
We’re here to change that. To expose the lies. To bring hope. To empower those questioning their relationship with alcohol. Because no one should lose themselves—or their loved ones—over a marketing scheme.
